DISCOVER ZANDVOORT & ITS SURROUNDINGS
Zandvoort is a village for cycling. Everything is closeby, you can just leave the car in the parkinglot. The bike is also perfect to discover the surroundings. You can cycle along the sea along the boulevards or even on the beach with a special bike. Or you cycle through the dunes to beach reserve Noordvoort, Langevelderslag or Noordwijk, or through National Park Zuid-Kennemerland towards IJmuiden.
Along the way you may encounter deer, foxes, wisents, Scottish Highlanders and Konik horses, the Big Five of Zandvoort. Take the Zeeweg, the Visserspad or the old Trambaan (Zandvoortselaan) to cycle to Haarlem in no time.
RESERVE IN ADVANCE 
Because many visitors to Zandvoort and Bloemendaal aan Zee rent a bike during their stay, it is advisable to reserve bikes in advance. At Behind the Beach, bikes are sometimes even reserved months in advance! Of course, you can always walk in, there are often plenty of bikes, but special models are always in demand and it's better to book in advance.
