WINTER BEACH TENTS IN ZANDVOORT & BLOMENDAAL
The year-round pavilions remain open during the winter months (Nov-Feb). You will find five in Zandvoort and three in Bloemendaal. These pavilions are - in principle - open every day, rain or shine, but always check their socials before you go. Below you will find the nicest winter beach tents and a few other nice places for after your beach walk.
NIUS BEACHHOUSE
The nicest beach bar in Zandvoort in the winter months is NIUS Beachhouse on the South Beach. It is comfortably furnished with nice corners, seating areas around the fireplace, rugs on the walls, beautifully laid tables and many plants. On nice winter days the outdoor bar opens and you can get all kinds of tasty things here. From sandwiches, soups and wine to cakes, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Tijn Akersloot has been a household name in Zandvoort since 1965. During the winter months, the outdoor bar is also open on nice days.

THE PORT OF ZANDVOORT 
The Port of Zandvoort has a new owner and this is reflected in the interior and menu. Inside you can enjoy a delicious meal at beautifully set tables or find a nice spot by the fireplace. You can go there for a coffee (with a delicious cake), but also for lunch, a nice snack board or a good dinner. Think of sea bass or lobster, a burger, vegetarian dishes or a sirloin steak. JUTTERSLUCK 
The Jut and Recycle Unit of Juttersgeluk, which stood next to Laguna Beach Pavilion last summer, was a great success. Many beach visitors, but also companies with team outings, managed to find the unit to participate in a Beach Cleanup or find out more about Plastic Soup. During the winter months, the unit remains next to the beach pavilion De Haven van Zandvoort. Can be visited from Tuesday to Friday between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM and in good weather on weekends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Juttersgeluk also organizes one every last Sunday of the month Join in & get a breath of fresh air cleanup.

BEACH CAR KARRIE 
In the winter months on beautiful sunny days you can see Abi's cozy beach cart (Absea Foodtruck) driving on the South Beach (between NIUS Beachhouse and Tijn Akersloot). You can go here for good coffee, hot chocolate, mulled wine, tasty soups and sandwiches. During these months the cart has a completely winter atmosphere. The nicest food truck on the Zandvoort beach!

BEACH PAVILION THALASSA 
If you walk directly to the beach from the station, you will actually walk straight into the Thalassa beach pavilion. This classic beach pavilion specializes in Seafood. But you can also enjoy a hot chocolate outside in the winter sun. Next to the pavilion there is a playground that is open all year round, so it is a great place to go with kids.

LUCIANO ZANDVOORT 
Not a beach bar, but a very nice place in the center of Zandvoort to go to after your beach walk. Luciano Zandvoort is open this winter from December 15 to December 24. You can still get regular ice cream here even in winter (slightly fewer flavors, but still 16!). And they also have 7 different types of Hot Chocolates, delicious coffee (including Red Velvet Latte or Pumpkin Spice Latte - super delicious), crepes, waffles and macarons.

REPUBLIC 
Republic Bloemendaal is one of the most beautiful beach bars in the Netherlands and open all year round. You can enjoy delicious food here, but you can also just get a good wood-fired pizza. RENATO'S BEACH CLUB 
The Italian restaurant Renato's is located below PoortBeach Boutique Apartments, on the boulevard in Bloemendaal aan Zee. A stylishly decorated restaurant where you can eat delicious pizzas and Italian dishes, but you can also enjoy breakfast, lunch, pizza-to-go for the beach or just a coffee on the terrace overlooking the sea. RESTAURANT BEACHED 
Restaurant Gestrand at Camping De Lakens is open every weekend during the winter months from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with 'De Warme Winterweekenden'. Just behind the dunes you can sit in the sun on the beautiful terrace and have a view of the nice playground. You can have a nice lunch or drinks here with family & friends. HOTEL BLENDIN BLOEMENDAAL 
Another nice place in Bloemendaal aan Zee, hotel Blendin, which will open its doors on November 13, 2023. Beautiful place to spend the night, but also nice to have a coffee or a glass of wine in the hotel lobby or on the beautiful terrace - both with fantastic sea views. SAN BLAS 
For a summery and tropical feeling in winter, go to beach pavilion San Blas on the beach of Bloemendaal aan Zee. Here you will feel like you are in South America all year round. The colors, the atmosphere, the beautiful floor, ceiling and doors and the delicious food. Ideal if you need a Summer Boost. Inside there are piles of games that you can play with your friends or children, for example by the cozy fireplace. Parnassia aan Zee is a nice place after a walk on the beach or a walk through the Kennemer dunes. Outside you will find a small playground - a real Yellow Submarine.
