Most beach bars are suitable for children, and of course there is always sand and water nearby to play with. But there are a few in Zandvoort that offer that little bit extra. Below are a few that I like.
TENT 6
Tent 6 is a wonderful beach tent to take kids to. You sit comfortably on one of the lounge sofas on the terrace, and your kids play in the sand right in front of you. There is a slide, a seesaw and a large box with toys. Inside there is a cozy vintage play corner and a whole pile of games for older children. Delicious goose plates by the wood stove when the weather is bad. The menu also includes delicious healthy dishes for children.

BODHI BEACH
Bodhi Beach has been on the South Beach since the summer of 2019 and has occupied the old - nice - spot of Ajuma. You can only get here on foot, which may be a bit more difficult with small children, but once you get there, you will quickly forget that. It is a nice, quiet place where children can go about their business. Outside you can relax in the hammocks. There are two trampolines and lots of games and puzzles inside. South beach 2
TIJN AKERSLOOT, VOOGES AND THE SPOT
Tijn Akersloot, Vooges and The Spot are also nice places to go with children. Here you can play beach volleyball, fun for older children. Tijn Akersloot has a few goals and The Spot has a slackline (cord for balancing). Children can also surf at The Spot and Tijn Akersloot. READ MORE ABOUT SURFLES & SURFCAMPS FOR KIDS HERE. I always enjoy sitting at the front of the terrace at Vooges, with my feet in the sand under a thatched parasol. Your kids can then play with sand in the shade.
All these beach bars also have tasty things for kids on the menu. Tijn's favorite is pizza. The Spot has a menu for Happy Kids who can choose from Monkey Sandwich (peanut butter & banana), a burger or a pancake. At Vooges it is always the Flammkuchen with tomato, creme fraiche and mozzarella. But kids also really like the pasta from De Pastafabriek or the burger with fries from De Friethoes.

YELLOW SUBMARINE AT PARNASSIA BY THE SEA
At the end of 2018, the Parnassia aan Zee beach pavilion was completely renovated. What was missing was a playground on the terrace, but this has also been available since September 2019. A very special one: a wooden Yellow Submarine!! When we were there it was still under construction, but it already looked promising. The playground completes the beautiful new terrace, and is useful when you sit on the terrace with your children. Even when the weather is bad, you are in the right place with children at Parnassia aan Zee, because there is a very cool yellow Jeep inside that kids can also climb into! BEACH CLUB 10
At Beach Club 10 there is a nice little playground with a swing, a climbing frame and a house. You can sit here on the wooden benches while your kids have fun.
