DISCOVER ZANDVOORT & SURROUNDINGS
Zandvoort is really a village for cycling. Everything is close by, you can just leave the car at home. The bicycle is also perfect for discovering the area. You can enjoy cycling along the sea on the boulevards or even on the beach with a special bicycle. Or you cycle through the dunes to the Noordvoort Beach Reserve, Langevelderslag or Noordwijk, or through the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park towards IJmuiden.
Along the way you can encounter deer, foxes, bison, Scottish highlanders and Konik horses, also known as the Big Five of Zandvoort. You can easily cycle to Haarlem on the Zeeweg, the Visserspad or the old Trambaan.
RESERVE IN ADVANCE 
Because many visitors to Zandvoort and Bloemendaal aan Zee rent a bicycle during their stay, it is advisable to reserve the bicycles in advance. At Behind the Beach, bicycles are sometimes even reserved months in advance! Of course you can always just drop in, there are often plenty of bicycles, but special models are always in demand and it is better to reserve them in time.
