Zandvoort is surrounded by beautiful nature. Wonderful areas that are also fun to visit with children. There is plenty to see and experience. 

WALKING IN THE WATER DUNES

What's more fun than strolling through the dunes? Get off the paths, it's allowed in the Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen! On such a discovery tour you will always spot deer, there are plenty of them around. And maybe a fox? Or a kingfisher? I always enjoy sharing a piece of the world with kids Green Route to walk from the entrance at Zandvoortselaan (there is also a restaurant with a playground). You will soon come to high sand dunes. Children love to climb and run on it. Also climb one of the highest dune tops of the Waterleidingduinen to the left of the path for a great view.

KENNEMERDUNEN NATIONAL PARK

The Dune Café of the visitor center of the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park recently opened a beautiful nature playground. In the playground, in addition to climbing huts and water pumps, you will also find two wooden bison, inspired by the real bison that walk around in the park. From the terrace of the Duincafé - with delicious organic snacks and drinks - you have a view of the playground, but you can also take your coffee into the playground. There is also plenty to do in the park itself. You can cycle and walk there, spot bison, swim in 't Wed and all kinds of activities are organized (treasure hunts!). There is also a nice shop with all kinds of natural and responsible items.
