THE PORT OF ZANDVOORT The Port of Zandvoort has been renovated! The new owners are hard at work upgrading this year-round beach pavilion. The interior has been decorated with stylish furniture and cozy seating areas. There is a new menu with delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And there are great plans for the winter months: from nice stalls on the terrace to dinners with live music.
UPGRADE
A lot has changed at beach pavilion De Haven van Zandvoort since the new owners took over. The interior has been tackled and everything has been given a more chic look. In the winter months, for example, you can sit comfortably on this bench by the fireplace. Warm up after your beach walk.
Various corners have also been created and there are plants everywhere. The tables are beautifully set for a delicious dinner by the sea. The terrace will also receive an upgrade in the spring of 2023.
DELICIOUS NEW MENU
The menu has also been updated. At De Haven Zandvoort you are welcome for breakfast, lunch and dinner and of course for a coffee or drink. For breakfast, the menu includes a Healthy Bowl or Overnight Oats, for example, but also an extensive Royal Breakfast. For lunch a Pulled Chicken sandwich, Pumpkin Hummus or a classic Uitsmijter or a soup.
For dinner you can go for a burger (also veggie) or go for Lobster, Halibut, Prawns, Duck, Entrecote or Portobello (vegetarian). You can also have a nice drink there with bitterballen, of course, but also Risotini, sausage from Brandt & Levie or Geay Oysters. And with coffee they still have delicious cakes from Holtkamp. You can really enjoy delicious food there!
WINTER MONTHS
The Port of Zandvoort is a year-round pavilion and that means that it is open all year round. From mid-November, there will be attractive winter chalets on the terrace where you can enjoy a hot chocolate, mulled wine or soup. A cozy place to warm up after your beach walk. Around Christmas it will be decorated extra cozy with Christmas trees and there are plans for a Christmas market.
SPECIAL EVENTS
During the winter months, special evenings with live music are also organized, which are fun for tourists, but also for Zandvoort locals. For example, an evening with Yves Berendsen is planned. Keep an eye on their Socials for more information.
DRINKS, PARTIES & EVENTS
The Port of Zandvoort is also a great location for birthdays, drinks and parties. You can rent part of the location and nice corners can be created where you can go with a group. It is also a perfect location for business events.
PLASTIC FREE TERRACE
The Port of Zandvoort is also affiliated with Plastic Free Terrace Zandvoort. This means that they do not have blow-away plastic on the terrace. As entrepreneurs on the beach, they want to prevent their own waste from ending up on the beach. That is why you will find milk from a jug (instead of a milk cup), sauces such as ketchup and mustard are made in-house (instead of from a plastic bag) and the drinks are always served in glass or plastic hard cups (for the beach).
CENTRALLY SITUATED
The Port of Zandvoort is located close to the center of Zandvoort. From Kerkstraat you cross Badhuisplein to the beach and arrive directly at the beach pavilion.
