ZANDVOORTSE SURFING SCHOOLS

You can lie on the beach when the weather is nice, but it is also great fun to go on the water. Zandvoort has many surf schools where you can rent a board or take lessons: privately, with your friends or with your family. What you can do depends on the weather conditions and the sea. Most surf schools are located at a beach bar, so afterwards you can hang around for a drink and some surf food.

Are there any decent waves? Then it's fun to go wave surfing. The Netherlands actually has pretty good waves for learning to surf. Wave surfing is therefore becoming increasingly popular, also among children. In Zandvoort you regularly see entire groups (of children) in the water with their boards and of course standing on their boards. And the good thing is: if you can surf here, you can do it elsewhere too. It is quite difficult to learn in Zandvoort, but once you master it, a world literally opens up for you. You can rent boards or take lessons at all Zandvoort surf schools.
