MOANA KITESURFING SCHOOL: KITING ON THE MAGIC SOUTH BEACH

You will find it on the South Beach of Zandvoort Moana Kitesurfing School. A 'cozy' kitesurfing school on a beautiful and quiet stretch of beach near the dunes. Where you can learn to kitesurf, but you can also rent a surf or SUP board. And for company outings, beach yoga, boot camp and movie nights.

Moana Kitesurfing School is located on a magical stretch of Zandvoort beach, near the dunes and directly next to a kitesurfing zone. Far away from all the hustle and bustle and traffic. On this stretch of beach you can only reach the dunes by walking on the beach or by bicycle. This means that it is quiet and you have plenty of space to practice. And you have a chance to spot a seal in the sea or deer in the dunes.

Yet Moana Kitesurfing School is easily accessible. If you come by train from Amsterdam or Haarlem, you can grab a free Moana bicycle at the station and cycle to the surf school in 10 minutes. Park your bike, climb over the dune and you're there. Or you park your car at P-Zuid (at the end as much as possible) and then walk across the beach to the surf school in 10 minutes.

At Moana Kitesurf School you can take kite lessons for beginners and advanced students, but you can also rent surf or SUP boards (for when there is no wind). Owners Erik & Michelle teach themselves but also work with experienced instructors. With a waterproof walkie talkie you can keep in touch with your instructor and receive personal feedback. There can be a lot of waves, but there is often also flat water near the sandbanks. That makes it a good place to learn it. You also learn to deal with different circumstances at the same time.

At the kitesurfing school you will find a container with all boards, wetsuits and gear. You will go kitesurfing with the latest kites from Naish. After surfing you can use the cool showers made from old surfboards.

The surf school is located right next to beach bar Fosfor, where you can have something to eat or drink after your lesson and hang around until the sun goes down. Company outings and events are also organized together with Fosfor. For example, you can go kite surfing or do various water sports activities with your colleagues, such as surfing, rafting, (mega) SUPing or Expedition Robinson. And then have a drink or BBQ at Fosfor.

Moana Kitesurf School is also organizing various other activities this summer, such as beach yoga, ice bath sessions, beach fitness and a beach cinema with fun surfing films on beautiful summer evenings. They also organize one every Wednesday evening SUP tour through Haarlem. Keep an eye on their Instagram for current information. There will also be a whole new collection of surfwear with cool surf sweaters and shirts that Erik & Michelle have designed themselves.
